Hi Tiffany! A thought occured to me as I read your plan. Why ask your volunteer teachers to send out the packets in the weekly folder OR at Open House? You are getting a lot of the footwork done before school starts which is great. Will your test groups utilize various motivational strategies or are you basing this on test data? Good plan! :)
ReplyDeleteHey Kate- I thought about sending the packets home during Open House. However, I have had several parents mention that there is alot of paperwork to fill out then. Because of this, I decided to wait until after the first week of school is over and send home the packets in the weekly folders. The test teachers will use the motivational strategies that they believe work the best and record the results.
